How to Become a Breeze Pilot

Here's your Career Track and how to become a pilot for Breeze Airways.

  1. Airline Career Pilot Program

    Enroll in ATP Flight School's Airline Career Pilot Program and earn an FAA commercial multi-engine pilot certificate and instrument rating.

  2. Flight Instructor Job

    Build experience as an ATP flight instructor after graduating to qualify for airline hiring minimums.

  3. Breeze Interview

    At 500 hours total flight time, recommended instructors interview with Breeze.

  4. Jet Transition & ATP CTP Course

    Between 1000 and 1500 hours, complete a jet transition program with Breeze followed by an ATP CTP course with ATP.

  5. Breeze Pilot

    Transition to Breeze and begin flying as a First Officer.

Your Career Track to Breeze starts at ATP Flight School. Here's how to participate in The Breeze Embark Program and become a Breeze' First Officer.

  1. Step 1

    Airline Career Pilot Program

    Enroll in the Airline Career Pilot Program and earn an FAA commercial multi-engine pilot certificate and instrument rating, with flight instructor certificates.

  2. Step 2

    Flight Instructor Job

    Join ATP as a flight instructor after graduating and build flight experience to qualify for airline hiring minimums.

  3. Step 3

    Interview With Breeze

    At 500 hours total flight time, recommended instructors interview with Breeze. After the candidate selection and interview process with Breeze, applicants receive a Conditional Offer of Employment and continue working towards 1,500 hours of flight experience with ATP.

  4. Step 4

    Complete Jet Transition & ATP CTP

    Between 1000 and 1500 hours, pilots must complete a jet transition program with Breeze and ATP CTP training with ATP JETS.

  5. Step 5

    Breeze Pilot

    Begin flying as a First Officer with Breeze.
