We will issue you a voucher code when you are in the ground school portion (Day 2) of your training. You can use this voucher code to test at ATP JETS in Dallas, or at any PSI testing center.
The Administrative department will facilitate the test registration process on a specified day throughout your ground training.
Our admin must open a seat for you to schedule your written test (Day 2 of Ground School). If you missed the window to sign up during ground school, please contact our testing team at (817) 873-0497 or testing@ATP JETS.com. They are available 0600–1400 CST Monday–Friday.
No, the voucher code we issue you is valid for approximately one year at any PSI testing center. You are not required to take the test at our facility.
Completion/Graduation Certificates are emailed to you upon completion of your last sim. Our admin staff must audit instructor signatures, and graduation certificates can be expected in the morning after your last allotted day of sim training.
If you fail the ATM knowledge test, you must accomplish retraining with an ATP CTP approved instructor. The process for obtaining retesting authorization is carefully controlled by the FAA, and ATP JETS has the ATM Airman Knowledge Test Retraining Program available to facilitate the process.
It’s much better to prepare ahead using the Sheppard Air Flight Test software. We do not recommend taking the ATM knowledge test without this additional prep.
Your schedule can be viewed by logging into your Student Extranet Portal. You will set up the account by selecting "New Student?" and following the prompts to get logged in.

Training facilities for the ATP CTP are located near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) at ATP JETS training center, near Orlando International Airport (MCO), and near Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
NOTE: The Orlando and Las Vegas training centers are only for the simulator portion of the ATP CTP course. Students who attend at MCO or LAS must enroll in our Virtual Learning format. Students using VA or who are attending on TSA approval MUST attend the DFW location. Students who attend at MCO or LAS and have also purchased the ATM will need to book the exam on their own as there is no PSI testing center at MCO or LAS. You will still be provided with Sheppard Air and a PSI Voucher code.

Yes. As part of the regulatory changes taking effect on 1 August 2014, the FAA is splitting the ATP-airplane written into two separate tests: the ATP-airplane single engine (ATS) and the ATP-airplane multi engine (ATM). Adding a multi-engine rating to your existing single-engine ATP will require you to take the new ATM exam, as specified in FAR 61.165(f):
- (f) Adding a multiengine class rating or airplane type rating to an airline transport pilot certificate with a single engine class rating. A person applying to add a multiengine class rating or airplane type rating to an airline transport pilot certificate with an airplane category single engine class rating must—...
- (2) After July 31, 2014, pass a required knowledge test on the aeronautical knowledge areas of §61.155(c), as applicable to multiengine airplanes.
Per FAR 61.153, a pilot must complete the CTP before taking the ATM written exam.
