Jacqueline Cako Awarded 2025 Kylie Murray Memorial Women in Aviation International Scholarship
Jacksonville, FL — April 3, 2025
ATP Flight School is proud to announce Jacqueline Cako as the 2025 recipient of the Kylie Murray Memorial Women in Aviation International (WAI) Scholarship. Established in memory of Kylie Murray to honor her passion for aviation, the scholarship supports women pursuing advanced flight training and helps continue her legacy through opportunities for others.
Jacqueline, a former Division I student-athlete and professional tennis player turned aviator, was selected for her exceptional perseverance, leadership, and dedication to flight training. She utilized the scholarship to complete a 15-hour Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) program at ATP and successfully earned her rating in March.
Jacqueline Cako's dedication to flight training, mentorship, and advancing women in aviation reflects the values the Kylie Murray Memorial Women in Aviation International (WAI) Scholarship was created to celebrate.

"Jacqueline embodies the spirit of the Kylie Murray Memorial Scholarship," said Michael Arnold, Vice President of Marketing at ATP Flight School. "Her dedication to flight training, mentorship, and advancing women in aviation reflects the values this award was created to celebrate." Lisa and Geoff Murray, Kylie’s parents, commented on "how much Jacqueline’s multi-dimensional interests and accomplishments resemble Kylie’s. There’s absolutely no doubt she will continue to accomplish much while inspiring others."
Jacqueline transitioned from a career in professional tennis to pursue her lifelong passion for aviation. Now a flight instructor, she actively mentors aspiring aviators through Women in Aviation and the Ninety-Nines. Describing aviation as her "second student-athlete journey," she brings the same discipline and drive to her goal of becoming a Designated Pilot Examiner.
The Kylie Murray Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in partnership with the Murray family and provides funding for Commercial Multi-Engine or MEI certification. The award honors Kylie’s legacy by supporting women who demonstrate a commitment to aviation and a strong foundation as student-athletes.
